GREENING ASSEMBLY

This year's theme, Shmirat Olameinu - Sustaining Our World, isn't limited to WRJ's continuing efforts to sustain Reform Judaism, it's also about sustaining the world at large. As such, WRJ has pledged to do more to make assembly more earth-friendly.

Usually assembly means a lot of printed materials. But this assembly WRJ will streamline what we are printing. Many assembly materials will be available on this site for you to download.

Online materials are greener, but this also means you have less to schlep home; unlike handouts, you can't lose them; they're easy to share with other sisterhood members; and the information is always available.

Materials that WRJ must print will be printed in Toronto to cut down on fuel consumption during shipping.

You can help too by:

1. Registering online
2. Viewing assembly information on the website
3. Packing light for Toronto (your plane or car will use less fuel)
4. Taking the shuttle, public transportation, walking while at assembly
