WRJ - Israel Twinning Program
In March of 2009, twenty-five congregations were members of the Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism (IMPJ) and fifteen of those congregations had formal women’s groups.
These women’s groups have collectively been founded as “WRJ–Israel”. Each of these WRJ–Israel members will determine its own goals and programs in order to energize the women of the congregation, support the congregation, reach out to one another, and empower their members, thus becoming stronger together.
In order to assist these sisterhoods in meeting their goals, WRJ is offering sisterhoods throughout North America the opportunity to “twin” with one of these WRJ–Israel sisterhoods; in essence building a long-term mutually beneficial relationship between the two sisterhoods.
