Through Women of Reform Judaism, sisterhood members connect with a community of more than 65,000 women in nearly 500 sisterhoods in North America and throughout the world. Our members have the shared goals of engagement in spirituality, a commitment to the creation of a vital, influential, and caring Reform Jewish community, and advocacy on critical issues to fulfill the spiritual mandate of tikkun olam, helping to “repair a broken world.” 

Affiliation with WRJ brings the voice of your sisterhood or women’s group together with other women world-wide, creating one unified voice, and proving that we are truly stronger together. The power of women organizing to make a difference is limitless.

WRJ will provide your sisterhood with leadership, membership, fundraising, and other organizational materials and tools, to enhance your sisterhood activities and ensure that your sisterhood will thrive.  WRJ provides a secure Leadership Resources section on our website for sisterhood presidents.  Training webinars are offered, as well as a dedicated listserv for sisterhood presidents to share their successes and challenges with their peers.

Weekly emails - Strategies for Success, Critical Issues and Actions, and Voices for WRJ - are sent to sisterhood presidents to be shared with their members.

In addition, WRJ member sisterhoods are entitled to:

• A speaker from WRJ’s Speakers Bureau once every two years
• A speaker from district in alternate years
• Programs for sisterhoods including WRJ Lilith Salons and WRJ/Israel Twinning
• Travel and leadership opportunities including:

• Biennial Assembly meetings every two years
• District events and conventions
• Biennial WRJ Sisterhood Leadership Conference
• Special interest trips to Israel

How to Affiliate
