WRJ Wilkenfeld International Women's Leadership Seminar 2018

Women of Reform Judaism’s Wilkenfeld International Women’s Leadership Seminar is a leadership training program for women in Reform/Progressive congregations around the world who have been identified as potential emerging leaders. The 2018 seminar took place at the Saltz Center in Jerusalem. Participants had the opportunity to cultivate leadership skills, learned about the Reform/Progressive Movement across the globe at a deeper level, and established relationships with one another, with WRJ and with the World Union for Progressive Judaism. The group was comprised of 18 – 25 women, with representatives from a variety of the WUPJ regions, reflecting the diverse make-up of progressive Jewish congregations.

Participants:

  • Learned the "why" and "how" of leadership.
  • Met Reform and Progressive Jewish women from around the world.
  • Established a global network.
  • Developed skills that can be used in your own community.

This seminar was presented by Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) in cooperation with the World Union for Progressive Judaism (WUPJ). The Israel Movement for Progressive Judaism (IMPJ) biennial conference took place immediately following the Wilkenfeld seminar and participants were encouraged to attend.
