Atlantic District

April 2024

Body

WRJ is working hard on lots of things, including the revisions to the Constitution and the Resolutions for this year. There are several upcoming information sessions which you can find in the Community group on Mighty Networks. If you haven’t joined Mighty Networks, you can do so by clicking here. Mighty Networks is our new social network replacing Yammer.  By joining Mighty Networks, you will have access to all kinds of resources on our own Atlantic District group, and Online Programming from all over the world. You can also ask questions about anything sisterhood related and someone will have an answer for you, and so much more.

WRJ’s biggest event is the Fried Women’s Conference which is in New Orleans this year from May 30-June 2. I highly recommend attending as it will be informative, educational, social, and lots of fun. Registration is open but the early bird pricing has ended. You can still register, though, and scholarships are available through our district. Email Amy Buondonno for information on scholarships, at abuondonno@hotmail.com. Click here for all the information on this transformative event. I look forward to having a great time in New Orleans with everyone who attends. We’ll even have a district breakfast so we can all get to know each other better!

We are still looking for an Ethics and Compliance Chair for the district, to work with WRJ and the other district Ethics and Compliance chairs. To read all about this, click here. Please email me at  wrjatlantic@gmail.com if you or anyone you know would be interested.

In sisterhood,

Jan
