Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000 plus competitive benefits package
THE ROLE
The Union for Reform Judaism’s (URJ) women’s empowerment affiliate, Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) seeks an Executive and Leadership Associate to provide high-level support to the Executive Director of Women of Reform Judaism. This individual will also provide general support to WRJ lay leadership and senior staff, as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
The Executive and Leadership Associate reports to the Executive Director, WRJ , and is responsible for the following:

Act as a conduit for access to the Executive Director’s time by holistically and strategically managing calendars and schedules. Prioritize conflicting needs and handle matters expeditiously and proactively, often with time sensitive pressures.

Develop an innate understanding of tone and messaging to communicate on behalf of the Executive Director with a hands-on approach that facilitates the Executive Director’s ability to effectively lead the organization.

Provide support for high-level executive/special projects and events, as needed.

Serve as the primary point of contact for Executive Director for external constituencies.

Support Executive Director’s fundraising and philanthropic priorities, particularly through donor research, communications, and relational approach.

Women of Reform Judaism (WRJ) is the women’s affiliate of the Union for Reform Judaism, the central body of Reform Judaism in North America. Established in 1913, WRJ represents tens of thousands of women and hundreds of women’s groups (sisterhoods) in North America and around the world. Its mission is to strengthen the voice of women worldwide and empower them to create caring communities, nurture congregations, cultivate personal and spiritual growth, and advocate for and promote progressive Jewish values.
