Andrea Gingold was elected to the WRJ North American Board in 2015 and is serving her third term on the Executive Committee, now as VP of Leadership. Andrea was most recently an At Large Member and chair of the Budget Committee. She previously chaired the YES Fund Grant Allocations Committee, the Allocations Task Force and co-chaired the 2020 (virtual) Fried Women’s Conference. She has also been a member of the Investment Committee.
Andrea is a past president and current board member of the WLC/Sisterhood of Temple Israel of the City of New York. Professionally, Andrea is the Assistant Director of Women’s Philanthropy at UJA Federation-NY. Before her nonprofit work as a fundraiser, Andrea had an extensive career in advertising sales and marketing in the media industry. She lives in Manhattan, NYC with her husband, David, and they have two sons, Ben and Charlie. Andrea enjoys travel, theatre, and food adventures with family and friends and has recently started the fiber arts craft of macraweaving.
